Frequently asked questions

The draw and the dinner are both at 20:00 — which one do I attend?: Both. The draw is made together with the representatives' dinner; they are for the same people, so nothing is missed by attending the dinner.
If the competition starts at 10:00, why is the opening ceremony at 13:00?: Eliminations run through the morning. The official ceremony takes place once the hall is full, before the finals. This is the established Balkan format.
Is spectator entry free?: Yes. There is no entry charge for spectators.
Will there be a livestream?: No livestream is planned for this edition. Results will be published on the results page as each category finishes.
Where do delegations stay?: At the KAREV Esat Delihasan national teams camp and training centre in Silivri. It is the official and only accommodation.
Can a competitor enter two weight categories?: To be confirmed with the organisation.
Is there team kata in this edition?: No. Team kata is not part of the 3rd Balkan Championship.
Can I pay the entry fee in advance?: The entry fee is paid on site on 27 November, in cash or by VISA/Mastercard.
